Heating System Thurcroft

DDJC Limited have just finished a Site Management project for NU Construction Ltd at Thurcroft Junior Academy in Rotherham.
DDJC Ltd oversaw the site management of the project for NU Construction working with there Contracts Manager and QS.
The project was to install a new heating system within the school.
Originally the project should have been carried out during the school holidays, however for reasons outside of our control and the clients the project was unable to start until September.
This brought about a number of significant challenges for the team.
Originally the  program was carryout the asbestos removal during the first 2 weeks of the program, but this presented a huge problem as it would have left the school without any heating or hot water during the Autumn winter.
After a lot of head scratching reprogramming multiple times and a lot of brainstorming with Elite Mechanical and Electrical of Dinnington, a plan was devised to run the system on the old boilers until half term, and then at half term the boilers would need to swapped over to a temporary system.
Until this point we were working on a duel system were the new radiators that were piped in as 2 pipe system were running of the old one pipe system.
Half term was a real challenge working a lot of hours to strip out old plant and install temporary plant and associated pipe work in only 9 days. The Sunday before the school opened was a real worry as there wasn't a working heating system until 6pm Sunday evening. That week an amazing amount of work was done.
Following half term the pace of worked slowed down as access to areas was very limited due to the school being live.

This project has being a success due to the determination of Elite and Chiselheads Joinery to get the job done.

Alston Retail park remodel

Chancery House Liverpool

Chancery House Liverpool is a 4.3 million pound contract. It is a combination of new build and listed building. 

DDJC Ltd were brought in to the project during the last month of the project to help ensure the final details were completed. The project is now complete and partially occupied. 

The building will be a standout landmark building for many years to come with its contrasting listed building architecture and the ultra modern extension 

Landlord works Bescot

I have recently completed a 9 week contract for NU Construction on time and within budget working with the QS and contracts manager. 

The project was to carry out the stripout of Comets old fixtures and fittings, structural alterations, install new roof, shop front Etc ready for the shop fitters to take over.
